Is the door of the room locked?

The door by which you enter is never locked and therefore allows you to leave it if necessary. You may return to the room at any time to continue the adventure.

 

I am claustrophobic, does this type of game suit me?

Although the game is played in a closed room, you will not be caught in a confined space. People with claustrophobia succeed successfully. You will be so focused on the adventure and the time allotted that this will totally occupy your mind making you forget that you are trapped.

 

Are the adventures scary?

The adventures are designed to immerge you into the proposed scenario. If an element could be scary, it would be mentioned it in the scenarios’ description.

 

Are there different levels of difficulty?

Upon your arrival, you will be asked to choose a level of difficulty between beginner, intermediate and expert. This decision will affect how many clues you will have access to. Some adventures are more complicated than others. You can rely on the room’s success rate to give you an idea.

 

How long does an adventure last?

Between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the chosen adventure. However, we ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance so that our game masters properly prepare you as they should. After completing your adventure, we will be happy to receive your comments, answer your questions and of course, take your picture so that you can share your experience with the whole world!

The photos taken will be published on our Facebook page in the days that follow.

 

Are we filmed?

In each room, a camera is installed in order to monitor the progress of your adventure. This allows us to track your progress and respond quickly if a clue is needed as well as ensuring your safety. No recording is done, it is simply a direct transmission to your game master.

 

When will you have new adventures?

We plan to bring new features to our scenarios each year. Additional rooms could open and adventures could be replaced by new ones. Follow our Facebook page or subscribe to our newsletter to see what's new.

 

Can I cancel / change a reservation?

Yes, you will be able to do so directly from the confirmation email you will receive at the time of booking. You will be able to make a change up to 3 hours before your reservation. However, to cancel you must do it 24 hours before your reservation. We invite you to contact us if you have any further questions.

 

What happens if we arrive late?

Unfortunately, if you arrive late, the playing time will be reduced as not to delay the next group. However, if there is no reservation following yours, it could be possible to accommodate you.

 

Do we need a reservation?

No, but a reservation guarantees you a time slot. Reservations are easily made online or over the phone during business hours. If you arrive without a reservation, we will be happy to show you the available time slots.

 

If an adventure is for up to 8 people and we are only 4, will we be paired with another group?

At SOS Adventures, teamwork is the key. We do not believe that mixing your group with others will make you enjoy the experience as much. Your group will therefore remain intact; you will not be mixed with strangers.

 

If we have already booked and people want to join / withdraw from our group, is it possible?

Absolutely. You do not have to notify us, but if you wish, you can change your reservation from the confirmation email you received up to 3 hours before your reservation. However, you must always respect the minimum / maximum number of players for your adventure. You can also phone us to make the change with a member of our team.

 

Are there any age restrictions?

No, our adventures are achievable by all. However, in order to complete all the riddles and puzzles, we recommend that young participants be between 12 and 17 years old. Curiosity and the logic of young people often make it possible to understand certain puzzles more quickly.

 

Are we responsible for breakages?

It would be surprising if you damaged anything. You do not need to make any physical efforts to solve the puzzles in our scenarios. If, however, you intentionally damage equipment or anything in the room, you will be charged.

 

I have special health conditions; can I participate in an adventure?

No physical effort is required and our rooms are safe. We recommend that you seek the advice of your health care provider to know of any restrictions. Contact us if you need more details.

 

We would like to book for a group of more than 8 people, is it possible?

We can accept larger groups under certain conditions. However, our adventures are designed to be successfully completed with the average groups of 4 to 6 people. The size of your group will therefore influence the degree of difficulty. We could recommend that you split your group in two and book two adventures at the same time. Please contact us to discuss.

 

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, debit and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). Payment is made directly in-store. Gift certificates can be purchased online or in-store.

 

Are your adventures bilingual?

Yes, all the equipment provided is bilingual. (English & French)

 

Are parking spaces available?
